Parent Association

The Levine Academy Parent Association is an independent volunteer membership body composed Levine Academy parents. The PA's focus is to provide the school community with programs, people power, resources, and information. The group’s primary goal is to improve and enrich the educational, social, and individual experiences of Levine Academy children, parents, teachers, and staff. We would love for you to get involved. Please click here for membership and volunteer information, as well as a list of our 2011-2012 leadership.

The PA's fund-raising efforts are of primary importance to Levine Academy, enabling the school to purchase or underwrite many “extras.” Our largest fundraiser, the Mag-A-Thon, is an easy way to help us raise funds for the school. Just click here and order or reorder your magazines on-line, using the school code 1075000.

Over the past few years, the PA has funded:

  • The new Beit Aryeh Sound System
  • Smart Boards
  • ECC Beach and playground enhancements
  • Flip cameras for classrooms
  • Visiting author and reading incentive program
  • Human Sexuality Education program
  • Faculty Education programs
  • Science program enhancements

The group also underwrites the Back-to-School Breakfasts, human sexuality programs, and Zimriyah, the Beck lower and middle school music performance celebrating Jewish and Hebrew songs and music.

The PA is led by an executive board, including president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer, members-at-large, past presidents, and ex-officios. PA leadership also includes the association’s committee chairs. The Nominating Committee chooses all PA leaders, with recommendations from current committee chairs.

All parents are encouraged to join the PA and show their support by signing up for a committee. Membership is required to receive the school directory.
